Actis Hybris Hen House

Actis and Hybris insulation are shortlisted for five national awards

Actis has been shortlisted for five national awards this autumn – four for its innovative Hybris product.

Comedian Lenny Henry is guest speaker at September’s National Energy Efficiency and Healthy Homes Award for which Actis has been nominated in two categories – National Product of the Year and National Supplier of the Year.

The awards, held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre on September 29, recognise companies which make a major contribution towards improving the energy efficiency of the UK’s housing stock, help tackle fuel poverty and reduce carbon emissions.

The same night sees it competing for the Timber Innovation title in the Timber Trades Journal awards again with Hybris, whose ease and speed of installation, cleanliness and ability to counteract thermal bridging is making it an increasingly popular choice with architects, specifiers and builders.

Actis Hybris is also competing for the Structural Timber Association’s Product Innovation Award on October 10. Other categories and nominees include Social Housing Project, Healthcare Project and Contractor of the Year, with companies such as Willmott Dixon, Urban Splash, Barratt Homes and Stewart Milne in the running for prizes.

Actis is also sponsoring the Custom and Self Build Project of the Year category of the STA awards.

And finally Actis is in the running for the Product of the Year award in the BREEAM National Insulation Industry Awards on November 30.
