Breather membrane, Actis Insulation BoostR Hybrid

BoostR Hybrid Roof comes into its own as temperatures plummet

Our new insulating breather membrane specifically designed for roofs has been coming into its own in the last few days as temperatures plummet across the UK.

BoostR Hybrid Roof, which is aimed at the new build and refurb market, is proving extremely popular with specifiers and builders looking for an easy to use and thermally extremely effective way of eliminating condensation and preventing moisture entering the building.

The CE marked product, used on the cold side of roofs, is an evolution of Actis’ popular BoostR Hybrid, now renamed BoostR Hybrid Wall to make life easier for purchasers and merchants.

The two BoostR Hybrid products also have the highest thermal resistance of any insulating breather membrane on the market and are extremely cost competitive.

Both have LABC and LABSS registered details, are LABC warranty and Premier Guarantee approved and accepted by the NHBC when used in accordance with the certification.

The roof variant contains four special features developed following customer feedback, which set it apart from its sister product, with the two changes making the most difference to the user experience being the addition of a lap and the inclusion of built in adhesive tape.

BoostR Hybrid Roof is easily distinguished from its sister wall product by its colour. The roof variant is black while BoostR Hybrid Wall is silver. Additionally, BoostR Hybrid Roof comes in larger rolls which cover 15sqm.

A series of bite sized video tutorials,  presented by specification manager Dan Anson-Hart, look in detail at how to install the product.
