Actis Hybrid range included in energy specialist’s SAP and U-value software

One of the companies behind developing the Energy Performance Certificate has included Actis Hybrid products in its online SAP and U-value calculator software.

The three products – insulation Hybris, insulating breather membrane Boost’R Hybrid and insulating vapour control layer HControl Hybrid - have just been listed in the materials libraries of Elmhurst Energy’s energy assessment products.

All users - energy assessors, specifiers, architects and builders - can drag and drop them into their own U-value assessments and use pre-set product characteristics such as thickness, thermal and vapour control properties.

All versions of Elmhurst's Design SAP software are fully BRE tested and Department for Communities and Local Government approved and calculate the necessary Part L building regulations and standards for England and Wales, Part F for Northern Ireland and Section 6 for Scotland.

Actis UK and Ireland technical director Thomas Wiedmer explained: “This latest inclusion in Elmhurst’s materials library follows the addition of the three Hybrid products into the BIM Object portal and will make thermal assessments so much easier at every stage of a build project.”
