Actis wins two titles in national construction awards

Actis has won two national construction awards - for being the Best Insulation Provider in the UK and for Excellence in Energy Efficient Home Designs.

The Home Builder Awards, run by global construction and property magazine Build, cover all aspects of home building and are open to architects, engineers, builders, suppliers and tradespeople.

Actis is no stranger to awards – having been shortlisted for five others in the autumn – four for its innovative honeycomb insulation Hybris.

It was just pipped at the post for the National Energy Efficiency and Healthy Homes Award for which it was nominated in two categories – National Product of the Year and National Supplier of the Year.

It also competed for the Timber Innovation title in the Timber Trades Journal awards, the Structural Timber Association’s Product Innovation Award and Product of the Year in the BREEAM National Insulation Industry Awards.

Actis has just launched the fourth product in its Hybrid stable. BoostR Hybrid roof is an evolution of its popular insulating breather membrane BoostR Hybrid (now renamed BoostR Hybrid Wall). The new roofing variant offers three key benefits to make it even easier for roofers to use - the addition of a heavier black membrane, a cover lap and the inclusion of built in adhesive tape.

All four Hybrid products, which also include vapour control layer HControl Hybrid, are CE marked, NHBC, LABC warranty and Premier Guarantee approved, and have LABC and LABSS registered details.
