Continued rise in sales prompts Actis regional specification manager appointment

The Actis Hybrid range of insulation and insulating membranes is proving so popular – with sales showing considerable growth over the last three years – that the company continues to expand the team and has appointed a new regional specification manager to work with builders and specifiers in the South East.

Jason Docherty brings more than a quarter of a century of construction industry expertise to the role, having managed branches of two of the UK’s largest and best-known merchants – B & Q and Jewson.

Jason will be working alongside Actis sales managers for the East of England, Steven Ellis, South East and South London, Liane Bayliss, South Central, Leah Rose and national specification manager Dan Anson-Hart.

His role will include providing technical advice and specification support to architects, specifiers, timber framers, other offsite specialists and mainstream housebuilders.

The four CE marked products in the range - honeycomb insulation Hybris, insulating vapour control layer HControl Hybrid and insulating breather membranes BoostR Hybrid and BoostR Hybrid Roof – have been praised for their cleanliness, ease and speed of installation, lack of waste, lightness and ease of transportation as well as their impressive thermal performance.

Their flexibility and ability to bend around corners and squash into gaps means HControl Hybrid and the two BoostR Hybrid products in particular are excellent at eliminating thermal bridging and ensuring air tightness.

The LABC and LABSS registered detail compliant products are accepted by the NHBC and fellow warranty providers LABC and Premier Guarantee when used in accordance with the certification.
